I constantly have a million ideas running in my head.
It gets so overwhelming at times, I'm paralysed and end up not taking action due to all the overwhelming ideas and projects I want to work on.
So, I'm always on the lookout for ways to filter out all that noise and help me focus on how to better select projects to start/invest time & resources on.
I recently came across these great tips from one of my favourite thinkers, Adam Grant:
How to pick a project worth pursuing:— Adam Grant (@AdamMGrant) August 2, 2020
1. Interest: do you think about it in your free time and bring it up in random conversations?
2. Importance: if we understood it, would the world be a better place?
3. Contribution: do you have something novel to add?#AcademicTwitter pic.twitter.com/QKaCTNHh9b
