Money Myths

A “financial guru” I’ve been following shared some “interesting” tips in his newsletter.

Some were typical tips, some were rehashed and incorrect advice.

Some of the myths I see everywhere:

Myth: Don’t use credit cards

Reality: I LOVE using credit cards for paying for things, BUT I never carry an outstanding balance.

The reality is using credit cards is not bad, it’s when you can’t pay off your credit card balances each month, that’s when it causes problems.

I like credit cards because I can either collect points or even get cashback on purchases. It also helps with cash flow.

That’s just one of the myths. I’ll share more in upcoming issues.
