It’s not your fault…

Reading Time: 2 minutes

First, I want you to know I’m sorry you’re going through this pain and suffering.

For anyone discovering your partner has cheated on you, it’s common to think, somehow you caused this.

“Did I do something wrong?”

“Where did I go wrong?”

“What did I do to lead to this?”

Now, of course, this excludes being some kind of abusive husband.

If you’re a normal husband/father, the first thing is to understand it’s not your fault.

Your wife and the other party made the decision on their own to do what they did.

If your wife was unhappy with the marriage, she should have talked to you to try to make things work. If things couldn’t be worked out, then she should have proceeded with a divorce.

But when people cheat, they’re taking the coward’s way out.

This is on them.

But of course, you’re the one who’s suffering because of their decision and action.

That pain you’re going through right now, it’s called emotional trauma.

It’s actually similar to post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD).

It is not something to brush off like a cold.

It is a serious mental health issue.

For me, I started experiencing panic attacks. I would be walking along and all of a sudden I couldn’t breathe and my legs gave out from under me. I ended up sitting on the ground a few times.

I couldn’t get out of bed for a week.

I needed answers. So, I started searching the Internet trying to find anything to help me deal with us.

I immediately discovered a guy named, Kevin Jackson.

His wife cheated on him too.

I quickly bought his book to find out what he did to handle this.

It would be unfair of me to share all the lessons I learned from Kevin’s book, so if you want to read about what Kevin went through and did to recover, you can go to his site here to get his book.

Tomorrow, I’m going to share with you a shocking statistic that blew me away when it comes to cheating wives.

You’ll get through this one day at a time,

Wayne
